The Art of Y

Call For Artists Through March 20
Posted on 02/24/2021
Summit ArtSpace is collaborating with the Akron Area YMCA on a juried exhibition to celebrate the Y’s 150th anniversary of strengthening the community’s spirit, mind and body. Artists who are 18 years and over are invited to create/submit work that includes the letter “Y” in a literal, hidden or abstract way. In essence, artists are invited to show their own Y story.

Submissions for The Art of Y are due by midnight on March 20, with the exhibit opening on April 9, 2021, and winners announced later that month. Sharon Frank Mazgaj is the juror. Cash prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3 place winners. The exhibition and associated on-site and virtual programming will run through June 26.

Details and submission guidelines are available at:summitartspace.submittable.com/submit/161442/the-art-of-y
